I wish to relate an incident from when I worked in the Marketing Department of The Quiet Hour Christian ministry in Redlands, California.

I was tasked to come up with an advertisement for our Ministry for one of the magazines produced by the denomination. I got together with my Graphic Artist and I came up with two concepts.

The concepts were designed to be different than what every other ministry provides as advertisements for their ministry. I said if our advertisements look the same as everyone else’s we do not appear different or special. We just blend in and go unnoticed. I also said if we run a half-page ad then we are the only ad on that page but when we run a one-third or one-quarter page ad there are other ads from other ministries and we got lost in the shuffle.

I asked my Graphic Artist to come up with two concepts. First was to design people in the shape of numbers and the second was to design people in the shape of sheep. In the first ad the wording would be: WHILE OTHER CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES TREAT YOU AS A NUMBER THE QUIET YOUR TREATS YOU AS A PERSON.  In the second it was: WHILE OTHER CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES TREAT YOU LIKE YOU ARE ONE OF THE MANY SHEEP IN THE FLOCK THE QUIET YOUR MINISTRY TREATS YOU AS A PERSON.

Our Management personnel told me our advertisement concepts were stupid and to do what everyone else does. I protested and was told to do as they say so we did. Do you want to know what happened when we produced a one-quarter page ad that looked like the ads of all the other ministries that posted ads?

When the magazine came in I went page by page looking for our ad and I did not find it. I went through the magazine again and again and again and still was unable to find our ad even though I knew what it looked liked. Finally I had to go on each page of the magazine and X out every ad and finally about three-fourths of the way through the magazine our ad was the only one not X out.

We got lost in the shuffle because old stuck in a rut Management people refused to believe me that being special and unique and to ensure you don’t look like every else would work.

It Has Been Awhile Since I Posted A Blog Article

I wish to apologize for not posting a blog article for a long time.

Things got hectic around the holiday season in 2019 and things are just now calming down in 2020.

Faked Moon Landing

People hate me because I tell them I believe we faked the landing on the moon in July 1969. I have many reasons for believing it but I will list two of them here.

The first reason is I find it hard to believe that we had technology in 1961 to only launch a human in a capsule that flew 200 miles from Florida and crashed in the Atlantic Ocean to eight years later landing on the moon. I do not believe we had the technology to do it that quickly.

The second reason is radiation from the radiation belts surrounding the Earth which we call the Van Allen Radiation Belts as they were discovered by a man named Van Allen.

The radiation belts start at around 1,000 miles above the surface of the Earth and go as high as 36,000 miles from the Earth. The radiation in these radiation belts is so intense it would make what happens in a microwave oven look tame.

For information and evaluation purposes the International Space Station flies at an altitude of around 200 to 250 miles above the Earth and so does the Space Shuttle when it flew. Now if Astronauts on the Space Shuttle and International Space Station are around 600 miles below the beginning of the radiation belts, and their spacecraft have shielding, then can you explain away why everyone who comes back from the International Space Station and Space Shuttle suffer from radiation sickness?

They suffer radiation sickness because the radiation is high from these radiation belts surrounding the Earth. And after you enter from 1,000 miles to 36,000 miles into the radiation belts the radiation is extremely powerful and intense and no living item would be able to survive.

We have been able to send unmanned craft through the radiation belts but if you go back and watch video of Mission Control at NASA when these electronic systems were launched to circle the moon to take photos for the eventual (possible) moon landing you will notice something consistent and unusual. For about one hour NASA loses all control with the space craft. They hear nothing for about an hour and that is around the time it takes the vehicle to go from 1,000 miles above the Earth (where the radiation belts begin) to 36,000 miles above the Earth (where the radiation belts end). After the craft gets far enough away from the radiation belts they have limited communications due to the radiation belts.

If you want to see an interesting movie from 1977 look up on Netflix to see if they have the movie Capricorn One. It is about a mission to Mars that never happened. They were unable to do it due to technology limitation so they set up a movie set in the desert and faked the Mars landing.

Do I honestly believe they did the same thing with the Moon landing in July 1969? You bet I do!

You go and research the information I provided then you make your own decision. If you still believe we really managed to send humans through the most vicious radiation belts known to mankind then I will respect your decision. I, on the other hand, will always believe the Moon landing by humans was faked in a movie studio.

Euthanasia

I have a question and I hope someone has a better answer than I have.

I want to know why, if your pet is terminally ill, you have the option to bring them to the Veterinarian and have your pet euthanized to end their suffering, but when you have a terminally ill human family member you are not allowed to, and they are not allowed to, ask that they be euthanized to end their suffering.

My last wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2005. She suffered horribly, and painfully, until July 17, 2009, when they finally passed away.

She wanted to put an end to her suffering and I did also. But the law prevented us from doing so. However after she passed away my dog, Lucky, was no longer able to eat or stand or walk and could barely breathe, and I was able to take him to the Veterinarian and have him euthanized to end his suffering.

Do you, the reader, have any logical reason why animals are allowed to be put out of their suffering but humans, in most States, are not able to do the same thing when their suffering is unbearable?

Here is what I think is going on. The Medical industry is one of the most lucrative, meaning money-making, industries in the world. If a person is terminally ill and suffering horribly and they give them an injection and in a few moments they are no longer alive they make only a little bit of money.

But what if they keep you on a machine that breathes for you, circulates your blood for you, and filters your blood since your kidneys are no longer working? They make thousands of dollars per day keeping you alive you think? So if they can give you an injection to let you pass away they might make one thousand dollars. If they force you to stay alive for as long as they can they can make hundreds of thousands of dollars.

That is what I believe is going on. What do you think?

Eddie

Today my story is about my friend Eddie. We went to High School together but we attended different Elementary and Junior High Schools due to living in a different district for those two schools.

We always teased Eddie for being Gay since being Gay back in 1969 to 1972, our High School years, was considered rare and amusing at the same time. We even taunted Eddie, but as our friend and not maliciously, by chanting EDDIE IS A HOMO!

Yeah I look back on that now and realize me and my friends were morons but Eddie didn’t mind.

Was Eddie out to recruit others into being Gay? Nope! Eddie was the nicest and generous person you would ever want to meet and have as a friend. Many times I visited Eddie at his house and we got high on drugs and I would pass out. When I revived I was fine. Eddie never laid a finger on me and never touched me in any manner. That is how much of a true friend and gentleman Eddie was.

We hooked up in the 1990’s by chance through Classmates website. Want to know what Eddie told me?

Eddie asked me if I remember all of us calling him a Homo and I said I remembered and I apologize for my actions. Eddie said not to apologize as it was a rare concept from 1969 to 1971.

Eddie then asked me if I hear the stories people tell that you are born as a homosexual or lesbian and I told him I have heard of that. He said that is bullshit. He said you are born heterosexual and you are “indoctrinated” into being homosexual or lesbian. He said one of his Uncles introduced him to same-sex affairs and told him it was not unusual and to accept it so Eddie told me he did accept it but it never felt right.

Eddie then told me he realized it was wrong, and against how he was born, so he left being a homosexual, got married to a woman, they are happy and they have two children. Eddie told me to never buy into the concept that people are born homosexual or lesbian as that is not true.

I learned a lot from Eddie that day.

Richard

Growing up in Oakland, California, one of my best friends was a guy named Richard. We went to the same schools from Elementary, Junior High, and High School. The event I will mention in this article took place during our Senior year at Skyline High School in Oakland in 1971.

Before I go into that I need to give you some background information.

Me and Richard were best friends. We were inseparable. We did everything together. Now remember this started in 1964 when we moved to live in the Oakland hills near Sequoia Country Club.

Back then we didn’t have the stupid racial bullshit we have today. I am White. Richard is Black. We were like twins only different skin colors.

It was maybe when me and Richard were in either 9^th Grade in Junior High or in 10^th Grade in High School when my mother walked up to me while I was alone in the house, as Richard just left to return home, and she said the following:

Mother: Andy I just noticed something.

Me: What?

Mother: Richard is Black.

Me: Yeah and Richard has been black since we became friends in 1964 so your point is?

Mother: I just never noticed he was Black.

For me that was a good thing. My parents didn’t look at others as White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, or something else. They looked at them as people.

So what happened in 1971 during our Senior year at Skyline High School? I drove to school and was walking past the Administration building where our flagpole was located. I noticed about 10 to 15 Black students marching around the flagpole chanting things about equal rights, equality, and saying things like they were under-privileged. I saw Richard, my best friend of seven years, marking around the flagpole with a sign that said I’M UNDER-PRIVILEGED.

I walked up to the group marching around the flagpole and up to Richard. I asked Richard how he can hold a sign saying he is under-privileged when his father, as a Deputy Sheriff with Alameda County makes more than my father who woks as an Electrician for the City of Oakland. I also asked Richard since we both live in the same well-do-do rich people neighborhood of Oakland, and his house was nicer than our house in the same neighborhood, how can he say he is under-privileged.

Richard’s answer: ANDY YOU JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND.

My response: YOU KNOW WHAT RICHARD? I GUESS I DON’T UNDERSTAND.

I turned and walked away. I lost my best friend and never got to hook up with him again.

Today we see the same bullshit where people are being brainwashed into believing things that are not true and they mistreat others based on their false assumptions.

Socialism and Communism

In a Constitutional Republic, which is what the United States is, we function under a system of Capitalism. This means your property is your property and people, businesses, or government cannot take that away from you. It also means if you work hard you become successful and the money you earn is yours that means people, or businesses, or government cannot take away from you.

Under the systems of Socialism and Communism you work to produce goods or services, or to earn money, then they take most of it away from you to give it to those who are lazy and don’t want to work. They do this under the lie they just want “equality” for everyone. This is what you see Democrats in the United States trying to do now.

Here is how things work under Capitalism. Person A and makes $1,500 for the month. Person B works and makes $500 per month. Of course person B sees the difference and whines that they are not making as much as Person A. What happens is that Person A informs Person B that if they improve their education and job skills and perform better at work they will earn more money. If Person B follows that logic soon they will be on equal terms with Person A who is making $1,500 month.

But how does this work under Socialism and Communism? Person A makes $1,500 per month because they educated themselves, obtained more job skills, and work hard. Person B has not improved their education, they lack job skills, and they are lazy at work. Under Socialism and Communism the Government takes $500 away from Person A so that although they earned $1,500 they now have only $1,000 in their possession. The Government then takes the $500 they took away from Person A and hand it to lazy Person B and when added to their original income of $500 they now also have $1,000 as Person A now has.

Unfortunately Democrats and Liberals in the United States think Socialism and Communism is fair as it redistributes wealth so everyone is even. I feel that stealing from one person to give it a lazy person just so their incomes are comparable is horrible.

What is always the final result under Socialism and Communism? Person A is tired of doing double the work of lazy Person B but ending up with the same amount of money after the Government steals money from them to hand to lazy Person B. Person A figures if they reduce their work production and drop down to $500 per month then the Government will steal from someone else to give to them so that they have the same income as hard working people.

In every case where Socialism and Communism has been tried it has failed. The reason it failed is because people don’t feel like working, or farming, or making things to sell, if the Government then steals from them and hand it to others. Eventually you transition from a country where 50 percent work and 50 percent are on the take to where only 10 percent work and 90 percent are on the take and the economy fails.

Look at what happened to Venezuela in 2018 and 2019 and that tells the story of how Socialism and Communism are failures as economic and Government systems.

Impeachment

Since the Mueller investigation report was released where Special Counsel Robert Mueller stated in his findings there was no collusion with Russia by President Trump or anyone associated with his campaign, and that there was no Obstruction of Justice on the part of President Trump, we still have half the Democrats in Congress demanding Impeachment of Trump. Shall we discuss this?

There have been 45 Presidents over the history of the United States. Only two Presidents, Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton, have been Impeached. This means the process of Impeachment of a President is rarely used and under normal situations, like what we have with President Trump, wouldn’t be successful anyway.

Both Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton were Impeached but using the lesser process which is a written letter of reprimand and they leave them in office.

Now I know what some of you are thinking and that is President Richard Nixon was Impeached so why are you not talking about that. I am informing you that Richard Nixon was not Impeached he resigned. The official Impeachment process was never started on Nixon. And several of the Attorneys who worked on figuring out of Impeachment on President Nixon would have worked have all stated that even if they had started the process there was not enough evidence to Impeach Nixon.

What about President Trump? He was found innocent off all accusations of collusion with Russia and Obstruction of Justice. If the Democrats in Congress even tried to prepare Impeachment documents they would get slam dunked so hard they wouldn’t regain consciousness for months. I keep telling people with all the illegal things President Obama did, and nobody brought up Impeachment on him, then with Trump being innocent of all accusations there is no way Democrats would be successful if they tried Impeachment.

Threats

I worked for 20 years in the United States Navy, and for 22 years in the civilian workforce, and I would like to tell you how I was harassed in the workplace.

While in the United States Navy I had so many jealous people try to take me out and take me down. Thry ranged from the lowest-ranking Enlisted member of Seaman Recruit to the highest ranking Officer which is an Admiral. In every case their accusations were false. What I did was tell them if they believe I am guilty of their accusations then bring me before a Court-Martial (same as going to a Court for a trial in the civilian world) and let’s see what happens. I also told them when the Court-Martial finds me innocent of their accusations I will counter-sue them for bringing a frivolous lawsuit against me. Guess what? Never once did anyone bring charges or accusations against me to a Court-Martial because they knew they were wrong and I was right.

During my time out of the United States Navy I worked in the civilian workforce for 22 years both full-time and part-time. I worked for Government Civil Service, I worked for the City of Oakland, California, I worked at three church-related organizations, and then I worked at a rehabilition facility.

In each of these civilian jobs there were the same jealous people but instead of wearing a Navy uniform they wore civilian clothing. They accused me of everything you can think of. Go ahead and toss some accusations out there and don’t spare your creativity as I am sure I was accused of it. As I did when I was in the Navy I stood up to these people and told them if they believe I am guilty of their accusations then bring a lawsuit against me. I reminded them the entire burden of proof is on them, the accusing party, to prove me guilty as I am innocent until proven guilty. I dared them to bring a lawsuit against me so that when I am cleared of their accusations I can counter-sue them for bringing a frivolous lawsuit against me. Guess what? Never once did anyone bring charges of accusaitons against me in a lawsuit to bring it into court for a trial because they knew they were wrong and I was right.

My point is simply that I have stood up to the jealous accusations against me and in every case these people backed down as their accusations aagainst me were false. You need to do the same thing and never let anyone abuse and threaten you. Not in the work place, not at school, and not in your family.

Palestine

You hear a lot about Palestine in the news, in debates in Congress, and you wonder what is going on. Today I am here to tell you what is going on.

The history of the region where the area, district, whatever you call it other than a “country” is not a country at all. It is a region, area, district, location, etc., where a group of people who have never had a country decided to call it their home.

If you read the Bible you know that the Israelites wondered for a very long time to get their stubbornness out of them. Finally God told them where they were to settle and they settled where God told them to.

To be a valid legal “country” you must have a Government, regulations, borders, and of course a national flag. Palestine has never had any of those things. Up until around 2008 they came under control of Jordan. They were classified as Jordinians and carried passports issued by the country of Jordan. Finally Jordan became tired of dealing with these people so they stoppeed supporting them.

Palestinians have been demanding to have their “country” recognized by the world even though in the history of the world they have never had a legal valid “country” as we define countries.

Israel, on the other hand, was given legal valid “country” or “nation” status on May 14, 1948.

I have friends who are Palestinian and all of them say the same thing. They said Jordan didn’t support them and now that they are on their own, with no government, no financial system, and no jobs, they are in huge trouble economically. All their jobs, medical facilities, etc., are located in Israel. Most of my Palestinian friends tell me if they would come under control of Israel they would be way better off than when whey were under control of Jordan and of course way better off than they are today on their own.

There you go. You have just been schooled.’

Does White Privilege Exist?

White privilege? Seriously? You think there is White privilege? Let me give you two personal incidents that happened to me while I was living in Oakland, California, and then you tell me I was the benefit of White privilege.

First incident:  I stayed with my mother for a few months in 1982. I would walk to the Fruitvale BART Station in Oakland. Nearly everyone on the platform was smoking cigarettes so I lit up and was smoking. Two BART Police Officers approached me, one Black and one Hispanic, and they told me I am violating the law by smoking on the  BART platform. I told them everyone is smoking, and there are cigarette ash cans everywhere, so why am I being confronted for smoking on the platform. The two officers said smoking is not allowed on BART platforms. They then looked around and said they didn’t see anyone else smoking, only me, and they gave me a $50 Citation. So all the Blacks and Hispanics on the platform smoking were ignored and me, a White male, was issued a citation. Sure great to have White privilege eh?

Second incident:  I saw a job listing in the Oakland Tribune newspaper. They were looking for people to teach “entry level administrative skills” to high school students so they can apply for jobs and have some experience. The only requirements listed for the job were:  (1) You must have at least 5 years work experience in the Administrative field. (2) You must have a desire to teach others Administrative skills. (3) You must be able to type 50 words per minute or faster.

When I called a Black woman answered the phone and talked with me. She asked me my skills and I told her I had 8 years as an Administrative Assistant, I love helping people obtain entry level Administrative skills so they have experience going into a job interview. She then asked about my typing speed. I told her I am around 70 words per minute (which was 20 over their minimum requirement) and I told her I would be willing to take a typing test to verify my speed and accuracy. Her immediate response was:  IF YOU CAN’T TYPE 50 WORDS PER MINUTE OR MORE WE DON’T WANT YOU!!! Then she slammed the phone and hung up on me. Never gave me a chance to take a typing skills test. Sure great to have White privilege eh?

In my 42 years of working I’ve never obtained a job due to being White. I’ve never obtained a job for being a White Male. I’ve never received any special benefits for being White. I have, though, been discriminated in job hiring, promotions, etc., for being White.

Yeah, sure is great to have White privilege eh?

Father With Cancer

In the mid-1970’s my father, Allen Eide, had already divorced my mother and married my step-mother Nell. Nell lived in Santa Rosa and father lived with her.

For many years my father suffered with two types of cancer. One was prostate cancer and the other was bone marrow cancer. Both were painful for him to deal with.

In the mid-1970’s I was contacted by Nell to come up to Santa Rosa as she didn’t think my father would last long. While I was visiting we were not sure if my father would pass very soon. At the time I was visiting one of Nell’s sons was at her house also but he lived in the San Jose area. Here is a conversation that took place.

NELL:  Oh I wish it was me dying of cancer instead of Allen? He shouldn’t have to suffer like this!

NELL’S SON:  Why are you so upset over this? It’s not like it is my father!

Yes you read that correctly. While I was standing in the same room with Nell and her son, her son made that comment to me. Basically he was saying that it wasn’t his father dying and he doesn’t care.

Want to know something about his father? Nell’s first husband, who is the father of her son who made this rude insulting comment, died of a drug overdose. Let me tell you what happened. His father was a Pharmacist and he was so stressed and depressed that he decided to commit suicide. Being a Pharmacist he had all the drugs available to him and he knew what each of the drugs would do to him. Yes he overdosed on drugs as a Pharmacist and yet he disrespected my father for dying of cancer which was outside of his control.

But you know what? I had to deal with this and accept it even though it hurt to hear those comments. Sometimes you have to turn away and walk away and try to not react when things like this happen.

Cost Of Utilities

Today I will talk about the two highest cost in our home which are electricity and water.

Our water bill is based on consumption and Gwinnett County Department of Water Services bills a certain rate for water based on 8,000 gallons per month for a single family home. Usage over 8,000 gallons is billed at a higher rate.

I informed everyone how to save water such as: don’t stay long in the shower, don’t run water constantly if you are sitting in a bath, don’t flush toilet until you absolutely need to, don’t allow water to run  while  brushing your teeth or shaving. When you wash dishes by hand turn the water off while you are soaping dishes and only turn the water on when you need to rinse them. Here are our last four water bills:

July 12 through August 7, 2018.= Used 6,.900 gallons (-1,100 under our goal of 8,000 gallons). We paid $102 this bill.

August 8 through September 7, 2018 = Used 8,900 gallons (+900 over our goal of 8,000 gallons) We paid $130 this bill.

September 8 through October 8, 2018 = Used 8,500 gallons (+500 over our goal of 8,000 gallons) We paid $124 this bill.

October 9 through November 7, 2018 = Used 8,800 gallons (+800 over our goal of 8,000 gallons) We paid $128 this bill.

In the 12 months we have been in the house we have been under 8,000 gallons but I hope we could be under 8,000 gallons more often.

When we run air conditioning during hot weather I estimate a monthly cost of $150 for electricity. This accounts for additional electric usage as the compressor that cools the air is running in addition to our house fan. When it comes time to run the heating system we cut electric usage by not having to run the compressor for the air conditioning. When you consider that to cool the house from 82 degrees to 72 degrees takes up to 8 hours to accomplish, and the fan to circulate the air and the compressor both run constantly, and compare that to running the heating system where we can heat the home from 63 degrees to 70 degrees in 2 to 3 hours, you can see where we get a lot of savings on electric usage during heater season over air conditioning season. We experience a small increase in gas usage as our heating system is gas fired but that usually amounts to an increase of $10 to $20 per month on the gas bill.

September 7, 2018 = $150 (due to using air conditioning a lot)

October 7, 2018 = $150 (due to using air conditioning a lot)

November 7, 2018 = $110 (dropped $40 due to less air conditioning usage)

December 7, 2018 =  $85 (dropped $15 due to using air conditioning only for a few days)

If you turn off lights when not in the room, run heating and air conditioning only when necessary, turn water off when taking a bath, brushing teeth, washing dishes, not flushing the toilet until absolutely necessary, and washing clothes less frequently, you can save on electricity and water.

I Cannot Take Much More Of This

I am sorry to post this blog today but the situation in our home with a relative living with us has gotten so bad that both myself, Becx, and Keira, are so stressed we are suffering with health and stress issues. All of us are going to lose our physical and mental health soon if there is not a solution available from an organization we are contacting.

So I am posting this blog just to air out...to get it off my chest...to de-stress just a little bit. With that said please allow me to state the following:

Take A Walk In My Shoes

There's a saying "Take a walk in my shoes before you judge me" and what that means is before you condemn others for what they do, or how they act, take a walk in their shows, see and experience what they are dealing with. Let me give you an example.

From the mid-1960's until I left the house when I joined the Navy in February 1972 my father drank heavily. We all just chalked it up to him being an alcoholic.

Many years after I left home and he divorced my mother I visited him and asked him why he drank so much.

Father replied that he has been suffering with a combination of prostate and bone marrow cancer since the mid-1960's and the pain is so intense the only thing in addition to pain medications he was taking was to drink alcoholic beverages to kill the pain.

I asked father why he didn't tell us in the family that he was suffering from cancer and he said he didn't want to burden us with his illness.

I replied that it would have been better for us to know his illness, and his pain, and that he draink to kill the pain, rather than just assume he was a run of the mill alcoholic.

So before you judge others please take the time to find out what is bothering them, what is ailing them, what is stressing them.

Jury Duty

I served on a Jury in San Diego in the late 1990’s. It was a criminal Attempted Assault and Battery trial against a friend of an Attorney who was renting office space from a Paralegal who owned an office building in Chula Vista, California. The case was that the Paralegal who owned the office building (the Plaintiff) was suing the Attorney who was renting office space from him claiming that when he went into the Attorney’s office to speak with him over issues he was having with the Attorney he found a thug sitting at the Attorney’s desk holding a baseball bat. The Paralegal quickly left the office and filed the lawsuit claiming that the Attorney was intimidating him with Attempted Assault and Battery.

My thought as a Juror was that AN ATTORNEY WHO HAS HIMSELF AS A CLIENT HAS AN ATTORNEY WHO IS A FOOL and that applied to this Paralegal as he was representing himself. Here is the very first round of questions.

The Defense Attorney’s first witness was the Paralegal who was also the Plaintiff. Here is the back and forth as I remember it:

DEFENSE ATTORNEY:  Have you ever heard of a business in Chula Vista named Cafe Legale?

PARALEGAL (PLAINTIFF):  No.

DEFENSE ATTORNEY:  I will ask you again. Have you ever heard of a business in Chula Vista named Cafe Legale?

PARALEGAL (PLAINTIFF):  No.

She asked him the same question a dozen different ways including specifically if he owned that business called Cafe Legale in Chula Vista and he answered No to every way the question was answered.

DEFENSE ATTORNEY:  Your Honor I would like to introduce this document into evidence for this trial. It is a filing with San Diego County for a Fictitious Business Name of Cafe Legale in Chula Vista, California.

Judge looks at the document and enters it as evidence. Defense Attorney brings document for filing for Fictitious Business Name within San Diego County to the Witness who is the Paralegal and the Plaintiff. She shows it to him and points to the document.

DEFENSE ATTORNEY:  What is the name of the business requested on this form for filing for Fictitious Business Name?

PARALEGAL (PLAINTIFF):  Cafe Legal.

DEFENSE ATTORNEY:  Would you please tell the Court who applied for this Fictitious Business Name and who signed the form?

PARALRGAL (PLAINTIFF):  My name is on the form and I signed it.

DEFENSE ATTORNEY:  Didn’t you respond, under Oath, on the witness stand, more than a dozen times that you’ve never heard of the business in Chula Vista named Cafe Legal, that you are not the owner of that business, and you know nothing about it? But now you admit you own the business and you filed the document with San Diego County to legally have the rights to the Fictitious Business Name of Cafe Legal? Your Honor I’m done with this witness!

What did I think, as a Juror, at that point in the trial meaning the very first question session? I thought if this guy, a Paralegal who should know better, lied under Oath a dozen times on the first question, there’s no way I could believe anything else he said.

I will not go into all the details but the bottom line is the person harassing everyone else was the Paralegal who owned the company Cafe Legal. He terrorized and threatened everyone. He even illegally represented himself as an Assistant to the Attorney who rented office space from him, and signed up clients and when those clients came to see the Attorney of course the Attorney had no clue who these people were.

We obtained a unanimous NOT GUILTY verdict against the Attorney and his hired protection man. after the trial I waiting for the thug to get off the phone and then I asked if I could talk to him. I told him I was on his Jury and he got the Not Guilty Verdict because all the Plaintiff, the Paralegal did, was lie under oath. Then, under my breath, I said to the thug, I KNOW YOU DIDN’T WHACK THE JERK WITH THE BASEBALL BAT BUT SEEING WHAT A JERK HE WAS IN THE COURTROOM I WISH YOU HAD BEAT HIM WITH THE BASEBALL BAT.

The man thanked me for serving on his trial.

Then the Attorneys on the part of the Plaintiff, the Paralegal, stopped me in the hallway and she asked me straight up why we found the Defendant Not Guilty. I told her bluntly YOU SENT WITNESS AFTER WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION TO THE WITNESS STAND AND EVERY WITNESS BLEW UP IN YOUR FACE. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD DON’T SEND WITNESSES TO TESTIFY WHO ALL TURN ON YOU.

When June 2018 hit us in the Atlanta Metro area we were suddenly plunged into very hot weather. For the first two weeks of June 2018 we have had high temperatures in the low 90 degrees range. Starting the third week of June we have the same but the highs are predicted to start dropping by the third weekend in June.

Sure hope so because this hot and humid weather is causing me to have a bad sinus headache and sweat a lot.

Just wanted to pop in on our family blog and say we made it through the month of May 2018 and in three days we will have reached our 7th month anniversary of the purchase of our home. Seems like we've lived here longer so that means we like it here.

So You Think You Have It Bad? Maybe You Don't!

I married my first wife November 11, 1974. She passed away from Pneumonia on May 8, 1990. I was born November 14, 1953, which means I was 36 years and 6 months of age when I became a Widower.

I remarried on September 30, 1990, and my second wife developed breast cancer which was diagnosed in April 2005. She suffered horribly, wasn’t able to endure any medications or treatments, and she suffered a horrible and painful death and she died on her 59^th birthday of July 17, 2009.

So you think you have it bad because you got a “B” grade on an exam? You think you have it bad because you applied for a job and you were not the applicant who was hired? You think you have it bad when your paper comes back from the teacher with lots of red marks on it for incorrect answers and wrong spelling? You whine, and cry, and demand a “safe” place at school or your work and a “support” animal to help you cope with your “problems?”

Add to what I went through my previously mentioned stress the fact that I worked for 20 years in the United States Navy, one year as a Civil Service Secretary, and another 20 years both full-time and part-time, and you realize that over 42 years of working I was abused, threatened, lied about, discriminated against, etc.

Let me ask you something. Did you become a Widower at 36 years of age and again at the age of 56? Did you have to endure the agonizing death of someone who suffered through pneumonia and could barely breathe until they went into a coma and died.

Did you have to endure the agonizing and painful death of someone who suffered with breast cancer, couldn’t endure any treatments, and they suffered horribly for four years? Did you have to endure that person telling you hundreds of times it was your fault they have cancer and they are dying when you had nothing to do about it?

No you didn’t. So until you do don’t even think about talking about me, to my face or behind my back, and condemn me for my attitude.

You have it easy compared to what I had. But you want to know the difference? While you’re a friggin’ entitlement jerk snowflake I’ve earned everything I obtained, I’m not a jerk, and I know right from wrong.
