I remember
growing up to the saying that APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS. We recited that
all the times when we were kids.
Then as I got
older and lived in various parts of the United States I realized that some
flowers bloom in the middle of Winter in January and February and that some
flowers arrive earlier than May when they bloom in March and April.
Imagine how
surprise I was to find out that flowers like the Crocus, Daffodil, and others
will actually poke out through the layer of snow and bloom before the weather
warms up.
Don’t always
believe what you hear in a story, nursery rhyme, or children’s song. Believe
what you observe as you go through life.
